On a bigger lot the question is where the bin can sit: firm, level ground the truck can back up to in a straight line, with about 22 feet of clear space overhead, away from power lines and branches. A gravel pad or a hard drive beats a soft field, especially in spring.

If you would rather haul a small load yourself, the Box Elder County Landfill at 9595 W 6800 N in Tremonton is open Monday to Saturday (2026 hours on the county page) and charges an extra $5 per mattress or box spring for special handling.
